Lars Kvaalen and Øystein Grødum to Heerenveen....

Lars Kvaalen and Øystein Grødum will go to the European Championships in Heerenveen next week. Today the skate-off between Lars and Henrik took place over the 1500m and 5000m. Henrik had to beat Lars with 0.8 points (8 seconds on the 5000m) to qualify for Heerenveen. Henrik fell on the 1500m while Lars skated a time of 1.53.4. On the 5000m finished Henrik in 6.42.7. Lars was 7 seconds slower and finished in 6.49.98. The NSF decided to give Lars the 4th spot for the ECH.

The 3th spot was already given to Grødum when Solli said he wouldn't start in the skate-off. He still did skate a 5000m and finished in 6.42.3

So now will 2 skaters who were beaten by Tore Solli at the NCH Allround go to Heerenveen.... and he is even passed by Christiansen also because he is selected as first substitute...
